The role combines governance with commercial support, requiring a strong network across private equity and corporate finance, plus an ability to challenge the CEO constructively while maintaining clear leadership boundaries.

Qualifications

• Chair or senior board-level experience.
• Experience with founder-led, high-growth businesses.
• Strong shareholder management and negotiation judgement.
• Solid understanding of fundraising, M&A and buy-and-build strategies.
• Network across private equity, strategic investors and corporate finance.
• Commercial, pragmatic style — able to challenge the CEO constructively while respecting governance of board vs execution.
