Job summary

Lampton Group is seeking a high-calibre Non-Executive Director to provide independent oversight, strategic guidance and governance for its Group Board. The role focuses on commercial growth, risk and performance, with time commitment around 20 days per year and in-person meetings at Hounslow offices.

The successful candidate will bring board-level experience, financial acumen and a proven track record in strategy, governance and stakeholder engagement within a public services business

Qualifications

• Board-level NED experience.
• Senior leadership experience in a local authority trading company environment.
• Expertise in business development, commercial strategy or growth initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, audit and treasury matters.
• Significant experience in asset management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to the Group Board.
• Support Executive Leadership Team with strategic guidance and practical advice.
• Ensure compliance with governance, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the Group’s strategy and plan.
• Evaluate Board performance and oversee delivery of objectives and KPIs.
• Monitor risk management frameworks, financial reporting and value for money.
• Engage with shareholders and stakeholders to communicate strategy and performance.
• Foster a culture of integrity, inclusion and high governance standards.
