Job summary

BASC, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of national events across the UK. This role is remote/home-based with UK travel and involves coordinating internal teams, suppliers and contractors to deliver high-profile exhibitions and member-focused events.

You’ll manage budgets, stand design, health and safety, on-site execution, and post-event reviews, driving consistent processes and excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing public, stakeholder, exhibition or member-facing events across multiple locations.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project; CAD or stand-design software is a plus.
• Background in exhibitions, trade shows or multi-site events; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and operational delivery of key events across the UK.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, event organisers and internal teams.
• Manage stand build, infrastructure, layouts and on-site execution.
• Oversee event health & safety, documentation and incident procedures.
• Lead staff and volunteer briefings during live events.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and delivery against objectives.
• Complete post-event reviews and help develop standard processes.
