Job summary

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is seeking an experienced Events Manager to plan and deliver its flagship events across the UK. This role is remote/home-based with UK travel, coordinating internal teams, suppliers and volunteers to ensure high-quality on-site execution.

You will manage budgets, schedules and risk assessments, oversee stand design and safety procedures, and drive post-event reviews to improve future events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing public, stakeholder, exhibition or member-facing events across multiple locations.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, contractors and venue teams.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to handle multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and operational delivery of key events across the UK.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, event organisers and internal teams.
• Manage stand build, infrastructure, layouts and on-site execution.
• Oversee event health & safety, operational documentation and incident procedures.
• Lead staff and volunteer briefings during live events.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and delivery against objectives.
• Complete post-event reviews and help develop consistent event processes and standards.
