HSBC in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Model Risk Oversight Analyst to join the Model Risk Oversight Team within Retail Credit Risk Analytics in WPB Risk. The role focuses on model risk management for lending models and Basel reporting, ensuring governance, issue tracking, and regulatory compliance to policy standards.

You will work with stakeholders across MRM, GRCR, and portfolio teams to maintain governance outcomes, inventories, and action tracking.

Competenze

Experience with governance of risk models and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple governance deliverables to fixed timelines.
Excellent written and spoken communication for technical and senior audiences.
Experience using governance tooling such as GMIS/Helios.
Ability to create dashboards and RMF/monthly reporting for senior stakeholders.

Facilitate model governance forums with packs, minutes and approvals.
Monitor model risk metrics and compliance; explain results and escalation breaches.
Manage first line post-validation activity; track actions and summaries.
Maintain accurate GMIS inventory and complete model records.
Own issue and control management; raise MSIIs to policy standards.
Create dashboards and monthly RMF reporting for senior updates.
Deliver regulatory and policy changes; adapt oversight processes to SS1/23 and policy updates.
Streamline oversight processes through documentation and automation.
