Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an experienced Model Risk Oversight Analyst to join the UK Retail Credit Risk Analytics team within WPB Risk. You will oversee governance, issues and controls for lending models and regulatory reporting, coordinating with model owners, GRCR and MRM, ensuring policy-aligned outcomes.

You will produce governance packs, monitor risk metrics, and support senior stakeholders with clear, timely updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk analytics or governance environments.
• Ability to manage multiple governance deliverables to fixed timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate model governance forums with packs, minutes and approvals.
• Monitor model risk metrics and compliance; explain results and breaches.
• Manage first line post-validation activities; track actions and summaries.
• Maintain GMIS inventory accuracy and completeness.
• Own issue and control management; monitor MSIIs and policy alignment.
• Create dashboards and monthly RMF reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Deliver regulatory and policy updates including SS1/23 and policy changes.
