Job summary

FG Alden Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Building Services Contracts Manager to oversee delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through handover. You will manage multiple contracts, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while maintaining high quality.

Key focus areas include commercial performance, client relationships, and technical oversight across HVAC, plumbing, and plant systems. Leadership and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within mechanical building services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, heating systems, and mechanical plant.
• Experience managing multiple projects (£500k–£6m+).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple mechanical building services projects from award to final account.
• Monitor costs, variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Review technical submittals and ensure compliance with specs.
• Promote health and safety culture and approve RAMS.
• Maintain strong client relationships and attend progress meetings.
