Job summary

Aspris is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance team in Darlington. You will turn operational and financial data into timely insights, forecasts and clear actions to support leadership in understanding performance and maintaining financial control.

You will lead monthly management accounts, coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts, and explain variances with actionable commentary. You will partner with operational leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and conduct

Qualifications

Fully qualified accountant with proven management accounting experience.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data clearly.
Advanced Excel and BI tools experience.
Excellent communication translating financial jargon for non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

Management reporting: prepare and present monthly management accounts with clear commentary.
Budgeting and forecasting: coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Variance Analysis: explain differences between actual results, budget, forecast, with causes and actions.
Business partnering: work with operational leaders to improve financial understanding and cost optimisation.
Project work: conduct detailed financial analysis on projects, product lines or market opportunities.
