Essex & Kent Police is seeking an Accounting Technician or Accountant to provide financial expertise to senior managers and budget holders. You will perform financial analysis, forecasting methodologies, and costings to support strategic objectives and deliver financial controls.

Role requires understanding of devolved financial management and costing techniques for best value. It is an office-based agile role with some home working, primarily in a single office with flexibility as needed.

Formación

• Understanding of devolved financial management and ability to forecast budget outturns.
• Knowledge of costing techniques for value comparisons in proposals and business plans.
• Post-qualification experience in financial environments is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide financial analysis and forecasting methodologies to senior managers and budget holders.
• Support financial control, trend reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and ensure compliance with financial regulations and audits.
• Attend strategic meetings and project boards to support operational effectiveness.
• Work as part of Corporate Finance Management Team with PFCC staff.
