Equans is seeking a Management Accountant in Lewisham on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours/week). The role focuses on delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and forecasting across multiple service lines within Equans E&S.

The Finance department partners with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights and contractual risk analysis. You will produce monthly results (P&L, balance sheet), forecast, analyse variances, and support cash flow management and contract

Formación

• Working towards CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Ability to analyse complex data.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce timely/accurate monthly financial results (P&L and balance sheet) for service lines and forecast/budget/re-forecasts.
• Present meaningful trends and variance analyses to enable informed decision-making; provide audit justifications as required.
• Produce key financial indicators and advise site management to optimise supplier payments and debtor days.
• Prepare monthly core service fee invoices and invoices for non-core activity based on contractual information.
• Monitor and chase debt with clients to optimise cash flows per contracts.
• Evaluate budgeting and operations to assess resource levels, performance vs outputs and benchmarks; challenge assumptions.
• Support general managers to minimise penalties; analyse root causes and provide recommendations.
• Liaise with staff to improve paper and cash flow; suggest improvements where appropriate.
• Assist with auditing contractual compliance and risks to support management; ensure entitlement of contractual arrangements.
• Support pricing of contractual variations and tenders with pricing/modelling input.
• Engage with Operational teams to review monthly Performance Management System to minimise business risk.
• Help optimise the management reporting suite to present meaningful financial information to customers.
