Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Head of Delegated Authority & Intermediaries in the United Kingdom. The role oversees the delegated authority and intermediary function across the Group, ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness and aligned frameworks.

• Senior delegated authority experience in an insurance company
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing a team of 3+ people
• Strong commercial skills with budgeting and risk-based thinking
• Excellent attention to detail and due diligence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organisation and time management
• IT literacy with third-party management systems experience
• Knowledge of Lloyd's markets and DA systems desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance framework for delegated authority and intermediary matters.
• Coordinate with underwriting divisions and distribution Heads to align policies with risk profiles.
• Produce annual DA & Intermediary sections of the Compliance Plan and track program milestones.
• Monitor regulatory changes and embed required policy updates.
• Oversee DA activities written by EU entity Tokio Marine Europe S.A. and ensure QA reviews.
