Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International is seeking a Head of Delegated Authority & Intermediaries to oversee the governance, framework and performance of delegated authority and intermediary arrangements across our insurance businesses. You will lead a team, work with underwriting, claims and distribution to maintain compliant processes aligned with Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Senior delegated authority experience within an insurance company.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a diverse team.
• Strong regulatory knowledge including Lloyd’s markets.
• Strategic thinker with risk-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance and oversight framework for delegated authority and intermediary matters across the Companies.
• Update Intermediary Policy annually to align with underwriting risk and delegated authority appetite.
• Prepare and monitor the Delegated Authority and Intermediary sections of the Compliance Plan; ensure projects are completed.
• Monitor regulatory changes and embed amendments to policies and procedures; communicate changes to third parties.
• Oversee audits of delegated authority arrangements and ensure quality assurance reviews are performed.
• Lead the Delegated Authority and Intermediaries Team, mentoring and developing staff.
• Coordinate with Claims and other departments to manage delegated arrangements.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and Lloyd’s rules to internal stakeholders.
