Job summary

Tokio Marine Kiln seeks an experienced Head of Underwriting Management to lead the Underwriting Management Team. You will oversee governance, controls and performance to enable profitable growth and ensure regulatory alignment.

You will engage with senior stakeholders across underwriting, risk and compliance, Lloyd's and internal audit, shaping strategy and driving continuous improvement in underwriting discipline and data quality. This is a senior leadership role with high impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive Lloyd's or London Market underwriting experience.
• Proven senior leadership with coaching of high-performing teams.
• Strong governance, regulatory knowledge and risk controls.
• ACII qualification or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Underwriting Management Team with expert guidance.
• Maintain and enhance governance framework aligning with regs and objectives.
• Support strategic decision-making with underwriting leadership.
• Oversee oversight activities including pricing governance.
• Build relationships with Lloyd's, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations, reporting and data quality.
• Lead strategic projects to strengthen underwriting discipline.
