Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Capital Projects and Infrastructure to lead the planning, delivery and governance of the capital investment programme. You will shape the estate, infrastructure and redevelopment priorities to support excellent patient care and operational resilience.

Reporting to the Group Director and Capital Projects & Infrastructure, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, external consultants and contractors,

Qualifications

Significant senior leadership experience in capital projects within large organisations.
Proven ability to deliver complex capital programmes on time and within budget.
Strong stakeholder engagement with clinical and executive teams.
Knowledge of HTMs/HBNs, CDM and NHS governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of the Trust's capital investment programme.
Provide executive assurance on governance, risk, finance and compliance.
Oversee business case development and capital planning activities.
Direct multidisciplinary project teams and external partners.
Strategic leadership for property, estate redevelopment and infrastructure.
Foster relationships with clinical and operational stakeholders to align investments with priorities.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and value for money.
Support organisational strategy and long-term estate planning.
