Job summary

Places for People is seeking an IT & Transformation Strategy & Governance Lead in Northwich. You will own and improve the IT strategy, technology roadmap, application landscape, IT contracts and policy framework, aligning plans with risks and supplier commitments.

You will maintain governance across the technology portfolio, supporting investment decisions and providing leaders with clear recommendations, partnering with IT, Transformation, Procurement, Finance, Legal and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT strategy, governance, portfolio management, operations or delivery.
• Proven ability to maintain governance records like roadmaps, inventories, registers or reports.
• Experience collaborating with IT, transformation, procurement, finance, legal and leaders.
• Experience managing or overseeing IT contracts, renewals, supplier performance or licensing.
• Ability translate complex tech or governance data into clear reports or papers.

Responsibilities

• Own and continually improve IT strategy, technology roadmap and policy framework.
• Ensure governance across the technology portfolio with roadmaps and risk registers.
• Support investment decisions and prioritise work across teams and suppliers.
• Provide leaders with clear, practical recommendations and decision papers.
