Job summary

Project Freelance in Stevenage seeks an IT Director to lead the IT group, set strategic planning frameworks, and drive execution for internal and external customers. The role requires a track record of senior IT leadership and experience in regulated environments such as GMP.

You will manage a 15-person IT team, collaborate with CFO and operations, ensure security of data and systems, and oversee efficient IT service delivery across company locations with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification required
• MBA preferred
• IT qualifications preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Set IT strategy and objectives with the CFO and operational leaders
• Lead a 15-person IT team and coach/develop the team
• Deliver IT services to internal and external customers and collaborators
• Ensure data and systems security balancing collaboration and efficiency
• Provide effective business partnering to internal customers
• Deliver IT services and infrastructure access/integration to company systems
• Manage IT services delivery within the approved budget
