Job summary

Perch Group seeks an IT Director to lead from the front in a fast-paced FCA-regulated environment. You will oversee IT operations for around 400 employees, own major incidents through resolution, and drive continuous improvement with a calm, solutions-focused approach.

You’ll manage service desk, infrastructure, cloud, information security, and supplier relationships, delivering data-driven MI and a resilient IT estate. This hybrid role offers strong growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT operations across multiple sites in a FCA-regulated environment.
• Experience embedding ITIL processes and developing managers/team leaders.
• Experience overseeing Azure, AWS and/or Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong supplier management skills and commercial pressence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the IT team across service desk, infrastructure and service management.
• Own the service desk and embed ITIL practices (incident, problem, change, request, knowledge).
• Manage suppliers, contracts and licensing; drive value and terms.
• Oversee cloud/infrastructure (Azure, AWS, M365) and ensure security and resilience.
• Provide weekly/monthly IT performance MI and act as out-of-hours escalation point.
