Breathe Technology in Cambridge outskirts seeks an IT Consultant to work with our internal teams and customers, delivering IT strategy, cyber security guidance and project delivery. You will audit IT environments, advise on architecture, and support pre-sales with technical input.

The role blends on-site and remote work in a hybrid setup, with opportunities for career development and direct mentorship from senior leadership. Experience with education sector clients is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT consultancy or project management.
• Knowledge of cyber security and risk assessment.
• Experience working with education sector clients is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers as an outsourced IT Manager / CISO / IT Management Consultant.
• Attend site visits and provide remote support hours for projects.
• Mentor clients on security, conduct risk assessments and security reviews.
• Provide IT strategy, architecture and cyber security consultancy.
• Define project scope, manage delivery with the technical team and handover to support.
• Prepare documentation including project plans, topology designs, proposals and tenders.
• Travel to customer meetings, support sales, and communicate with client teams.
