Job summary

National Highways in the UK is recruiting an IT Audit Manager within the Corporate Risk and Assurance division. You will lead audits of risk management, internal control and governance, planning, supervising and delivering IT internal audits and assurance engagements to support the Head of IT Audit.

The role involves travel to regional offices, developing audit plans, reviewing documentation, presenting findings to executive and board stakeholders, and building trusted business relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT audit teams and setting objectives.
• Experience delivering risk-based audits with independent assurance.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills for executives and boards.
• CISA or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and deliver IT internal audits and assurance engagements.
• Guide and manage audit staff on assignments.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference to report.
• Present findings at senior meetings and liaise with executive/board stakeholders.
• Develop IT audit plans and ensure timely delivery.
