Kennedy Pearce Consulting is partnering with a successful consumer products business to recruit a Management Accountant with a strong focus on inventory and stock. This newly created role offers ownership of stock accounting and a chance to shape processes as the business scales.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage inventory valuation, reconciliations, and cost of sales, working with finance, operations, supply chain and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock, inventory and/or cost accounting.
• Experience in consumer-facing product environments (retail, FMCG, manufacturing, ecommerce).
• Strong Excel and analytical capabilities; ability to challenge financial data.

Responsabilités

• Own inventory accounting and financial control across the business.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and GL reporting; manage stock reconciliations.
• Support month-end close for inventory, COGS and related balance sheet accounts.
• Review stock movements, adjustments, provisions and write-offs; analyze COGS.
• Provide inventory analysis to support financial and commercial decisions; collaborate with operations and supply chain.
• Strengthen inventory controls and processes; assist budgeting and audits.
