Job summary

Kennedy Pearce Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Management Accountant for a Suffolk-based chemical company. You will focus on month-end reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will partner with commercial and operational teams, drive process improvements, and help develop financial models and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Part- or fully-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• 2-3 years' experience in management accounting or similar role.
• Strong month-end reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis experience.
• Excellent business partnering with operational teams.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, reforecasting and long-term planning cycles.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to analyse performance.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modelling for strategic projects.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations including accruals and intercompany.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
• Contribute to automation, reporting enhancements and system improvements.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors as required.
