Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an analytical, technically skilled Inventory Planner to join the Amazon Shipping EU team.

The role focuses on optimizing transportation networks and meeting the strategic network plan, with emphasis on large-scale data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead key capacity integration programs, forecast demand and capacity, and drive process improvements to supportPrime Day and other peak events.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or advanced use of Excel and using statistical analysis applications.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• Experience with advanced SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience working with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity integration programs coordinating with stakeholders and setting up all aspects of the S&OP function from demand and capacity forecasting, execution, software designing and driving process improvements.
• As an Inventory Planner, help Amazon Shipping manage, improve, and optimize the way parcels are shipped from our shippers to our customers.
• Be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with large-scale data.
