Job summary

AXA UK&I is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver compelling colleague communications across channels, events, and campaigns. You’ll turn strategic priorities into integrated editorial plans, coordinating across business units and partners to ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling.

• Strong internal communications experience in a large organisation.
• Excellent editorial judgement and ability to craft compelling content.
• Experience using AI and emerging tech to enhance content workflows.
• Good understanding of digital channels and analytics to improve colleague experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead major internal communication campaigns, projects and colleague events from brief to delivery and evaluation.
• Shape and manage AXA UK&I editorial plan aligning priorities to create coherent communications for colleagues.
• Turn priorities into integrated communication plans across content, channels, events and leadership comms.
• Lead channel development projects with technology teams to improve functionality and impact.
• Be the coordination lead for high-profile comms activity across audiences and channels.
• Collaborate with Strategic Internal Communication partners to turn strategic plans into creative activity.
• Supervise Content and Channel Specialists and Assistants, ensuring quality, brand and editorial consistency.
• Use insight and performance data to continuously raise the bar and improve engagement.
