Job summary

BT Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of audits across BT Group, applying experience in financial, operational and technology controls to drive practical actions that improve performance.

You will work in small teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives, leverage data analytics, and evolve reporting strategies within the Group Internal Audit function.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering risk-based internal audits in large organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Professional qualification such as CIIA, CIA, CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW.

Responsibilities

• Gather business insights from stakeholders to input annual plan and audit scope.
• Deliver end-to-end audits in a risk-assessed, timely manner with data analytics support.
• Monitor budget to minimise overruns and delays.
• Track audit actions to ensure implementation and effective remediation.
• Contribute to governance papers for Audit committees and forums.
• Coach and mentor audit team members and review work papers for quality.
