Job summary

BDO UK is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Manager to lead engagements across a varied portfolio, building trusted client relationships and delivering high-quality assurance and risk advisory services.

In this role you will partner with Directors and Partners, develop teams, drive quality and growth, and contribute to the continued success of the Risk Advisory Services practice across the UK.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering internal audit or equivalent risk and assurance engagements at Senior Manager or equivalent level.
• Strong technical understanding of risk management, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Experience with complex clients, ideally including listed, regulated, public sector or not-for-profit organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit and risk advisory engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage senior client relationships and oversee delivery of high-quality engagements.
• Provide technical and commercial leadership to Managers and engagement teams.
• Support business development and contribute to practice growth.
• Coach and develop Managers and teams to drive quality and progression.
