Job summary

WOODSTOCK RECRUITMENT LIMITED, a leading supplier of speciality chemicals and raw materials to pharma, nutra and life sciences, is hiring an internal sales advisor. This is a true sales role focused on building relationships, spotting opportunities and proactively driving business forward within the UK.

You will join an established team with experience in life sciences or chemicals, bringing sales or customer engagement expertise and using CRM tools to manage your pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer engagement within life sciences or chemicals.
• Science qualification preferred (pharm sciences/chemistry) but not essential.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with CRM systems.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of customers
• Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Manage and progress customer enquiries, quotes, samples and projects with urgency and ownership
• Deliver clear, professional and timely communication to customers
• Support the external sales team through effective coordination and follow-up
• Maintain an accurate and active pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
• Analyse customer activity and performance to identify risks and opportunities
• Follow up consistently on quotes, samples and ongoing projects to maximise conversion
• Represent the business professionally in customer interactions and at industry events where required
