Job summary

Sue Ross Recruitment Ltd on behalf of our client, a respected engineering company, seeks an Information Systems Manager on a permanent basis. You will lead the IT team, ensure security, reliability and strategic development of information systems and IT infrastructure.

The role sits in the Management Team, supporting decision making and compliance across the UK and USA. This leadership role requires strong governance, disaster recovery, cyber security and strategic planning, with responsibility

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading an IT team and delivering strategic IT initiatives.
• Experience with cyber security principles and secure operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server and AD.
• Ability to manage budgets, governance and procurement.
• Experience with cloud services and networking.
• Familiarity with ERP/line-of-business systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the IT team with coaching and reviews.
• Ensure availability and performance of IT systems and services.
• Develop IT policies, disaster recovery and continuity plans.
• Coordinate security controls and incident response.
• Oversee service delivery, incident management and user support.
• Strategic IT planning and budgeting aligned with business goals.
• Vendor management and contract oversight for external suppliers.
• Deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
