Job summary

The University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to maximise the benefit of our Industrial Partners and the wider network. You will lead relationship engagement plans, support partners, oversee portfolios and collaborate with research groups to deliver high-impact outcomes.

As part of the Partnerships Team within the Commercial Function, you will manage partner memberships, renewals, and meetings, ensuring a positive partner

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through integrity, transparency, and regular communication.
• Act as primary liaison, connecting Partners with AMRC colleagues and the wider Partnership community.
• Maintain a comprehensive network contact list for Partners and AMRC teams.
• Develop and deliver strategic engagement and collaboration plans with colleagues and Partners.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of AMRC strategy, capability, processes and personnel.
• Oversee Partner activity and opportunities across the AMRC, track status and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities with Partners to leverage AMRC capabilities across the full portfolio.
• Facilitate technical alignment between AMRC staff and Partner teams; mediate conflicts.
