Job summary

RTI Health Solutions is seeking an Associate Director of Implementation Science to lead and advance our project portfolio. You will guide study design, manage teams, and work with pharmaceutical clients to integrate evidence generation into development and market access strategies.

You will mentor junior researchers, ensure scientific rigor, and help expand RTI-HS capabilities through proposals, presentations, and client engagement.

Qualifications

• PhD in implementation science or related field plus at least 2 years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience applying implementation science theories, models, and outcomes to real-world health questions.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development process and the role of evidence generation.
• Demonstrated ability to design scientifically rigorous and operationally feasible health research studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex implementation science projects from initial scoping through final delivery.
• Provide strategic direction on applying implementation science to pharmaceutical development, evidence generation, and healthcare delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, timelines, and client communications.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, capability presentations, and client cultivation.
