Job summary

Women's Aid is seeking an Evaluation & Impact Manager to lead outcomes measurement across programmes, developing an Outcomes Framework and driving learning and quality assurance to maximise survivors' impact. You will manage the internal evaluation programme, collaborate with academics, funders and policy stakeholders, and build a network for joint research to inform evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Experience using data to evidence meaningful outcomes.
  • Clear, persuasive communication to non-data audiences.
  • Ability to apply hard data to social outcomes.
  • Strong skills in spreadsheets, databases and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on Women's Aid's monitoring, evaluation & learning; develop robust evaluation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Lead a cross-organisational team to embed evaluation into core project processes.
  • Enhance use of internal data for evaluation and learning to strengthen impact against strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate responses to funding bids; ensure evidence-based monitoring and evaluation for funders.
  • Identify business opportunities for Women's Aid's data sets, research and evaluation; develop income strategies.
  • Represent Women's Aid at external meetings and build a network of academics to support joint funding work.
  • Manage, supervise, appraise and develop direct reports; oversee delegated budget.
