Job summary

Astutis, part of Wilmington plc, seeks a Head of HSE Technical Services to lead our health, safety and environmental expertise. You will guide learning products, consultancy outputs and assessments to meet NEBOSH, IOSH and IEMA standards.

You’ll shape technical direction, mentor teams, and drive high performance while maintaining audit readiness and strong client partnerships within a hybrid Cardiff-based role.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in health and safety leadership roles, ideally within NEBOSH accredited training centres or consultancy environments.
• Deep understanding of global HSE legislation, risk management and safety management systems.
• Proven ability to interpret standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001) and apply them across outputs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical authority for NEBOSH, IOSH and IEMA programmes.
• Lead quality assurance of learning materials, including content, assessments and tutor guidance.
• Build relationships with awarding bodies and regulators (NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, BOHS).
• Drive response to regulatory and industry developments and ensure audit readiness.
