Job summary

Astutis, part of Wilmington plc, is seeking a Head of HSE Technical Services in a hybrid Cardiff role. You will lead from the front on health, safety and environmental standards across learning products, consultancy outputs and assessments.

The role requires senior-level credibility, NEBOSH Diploma knowledge, and the ability to influence regulators and awarding bodies while guiding technical teams and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive HSE leadership experience in training or consultancy.
• Deep understanding of NEBOSH Diploma syllabi and assessment methods.
• Strong knowledge of IOSH, IEMA, BOHS frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering accredited programmes.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for HSE programmes and outputs.
• Quality assure learning materials, assessments and tutor guidance.
• Build relationships with awarding bodies and regulators.
• Lead responses to regulatory changes and industry developments.
• Oversee bespoke client projects and project management.
• Mentor teams and drive commercial performance.
