Job summary

Astutis, part of Wilmington plc, seeks a Head of Training and Service Delivery to lead HSE learning excellence. You will shape technical direction, ensure accreditation standards, and drive high-value client projects while balancing commercial and regulatory priorities.

You will mentor teams, oversee QA, and represent the company at industry forums, contributing to strategic objectives and cutting-edge learning solutions.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with strong accreditation experience.
• Proven leadership in regulated training or HSE organisations.
• Experience delivering or overseeing high-stakes assessments and QA processes.
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Ability to engage senior clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for HSE programmes and accreditation.
• Lead QA of learning materials, assessments, and tutor guidance.
• Build relationships with awarding bodies and regulators (NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, BOHS).
• Drive regulatory and industry responses to changes and updates.
• Ensure audit-ready processes and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership to technical, consultancy and quality teams.
• Support product innovation and development of new courses.
• Represent Astutis at industry forums and review boards.
• Oversee delivery of high-value client projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries and disputes.
