Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking an HR Business Partner to influence senior leaders across UK and Europe, applying employment law with sound commercial judgment. The role combines advisory work with strategic HR programmes, focused on employee relations, change and wellbeing.

The position is based in Glasgow/Greenock with hybrid weekly patterns. You will report to the Head of HR UK and collaborate with the Europe HR Director and Centers of Excellence to design practical, compliant people solutions

Qualifications

• Extensive generalist HR business partnering experience and a strong record of applying employment law confidently in practice.
• Knowledge of UK and EU employment law and regulations is deep, current and practical.
• Understand opportunities and challenges of supporting multigenerational, multi-site and diverse workforces.

Responsibilities

• Become a trusted adviser to senior leaders, managers and subject-matter experts, bringing confidence and commercial insight to complex employee relations matters.
• Lead employee relations across multiple business units and functions, balancing legal requirements with business priorities.
• Turn evolving UK and EU employment law into clear, practical action that leaders can use.
• Shape forward-looking HR programmes across employee relations, performance, absence, diversity and wellbeing.
