Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and proactive HR support across the Council, with a focus on the Children’s Division. You will advise managers and senior leaders while helping to develop and improve people practices.

You will act as a lead practitioner on complex employee relations, HR casework, organisational change and policy development, working with directorates to implement workforce changes and ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR professional with strong HR business partnering background.
• Skilled in handling employee relations and organisational change.
• Ability to provide credible HR guidance to senior managers in a complex public-sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HRBP support to directorates, focusing on Children’s Services.
• Offer expert advice on complex employee relations and HR casework.
• Lead organisational change initiatives and policy development when required.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures with focus on best practice.
