Job summary

HRCentral Ltd in Goring-on-Thames is seeking an HR Generalist to manage a portfolio of clients, delivering employee relations, recruitment and learning and development. You will design and run bespoke management training, coach line managers and apply sound HR practices across the employee lifecycle.

You should bring ER experience, working knowledge of employment law, and a business-partner mindset. The role offers varied client work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• You've delivered management training and designed it as well as ran it.
• You've used DISC (accreditation is a real plus).
• You think like a business partner and protect a client's people, reputation and bottom line.
• You thrive at pace, manage a heavy caseload and switch between clients without losing track.
• You have solid ER experience and working knowledge of employment law and case law.
• You're decisive, give clear recommendations and stand behind them.
• You're a strong communicator who builds long-lasting client relationships.
• You're tech-savvy across Microsoft Office, ATS, HRIS and e-learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver bespoke management training for teams and individuals.
• Run programmes on core people-management skills such as difficult conversations and performance.
• Coach line managers through live people issues so they can handle them confidently.
• Deliver in person, by video call and through cloud-based training portals.
• Use DISC to help managers understand themselves and their teams.
• Handle ER caseloads including performance, absence, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Chair or support hearings and investigations on complex cases.
• Lead or support TUPE transfers and restructures.
• Draft contracts and bespoke policies tailored to each client.
• Advise on recruitment strategy and write job descriptions.
