Job summary

Lucy Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders across Newcastle and Sowerby Bridge, with occasional travel to Oxford. The role operates part-time, three days a week, in a hybrid site-based model.

You will partner with business leaders to deliver people plans, advise on employee relations, organisational change, and workforce planning, while embedding Lucy Group ways of working and ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Seasoned HR professional with strategic and hands-on approach.
• Experience in HR business partnering within complex or changing organisations.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to develop and deliver people plans that support performance.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, organisational change, and capability matters.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational design.
• Drive engagement, retention and leadership effectiveness across the business.
• Embed HR processes including performance reviews and talent planning.
• Use HR data to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development and HR colleagues to deliver consistent outcomes.
• Support business transformation and adoption of new ways of working.
