Job summary

Luminate Education Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team, reporting to the Deputy HR Director. Based in Leeds, the role operates in a hybrid hub model, partnering with curriculum and non-curriculum teams across the organisation.

You will provide trusted HR advice, support organisational change, and develop practical people solutions to help our teams thrive. Park Lane Campus in Leeds serves as the main base.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification with a commitment to Level 7.
• Strong knowledge of HR and OD best practice, employment law and employee relations.
• Experience managing complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, redundancy, restructuring and TUPE.
• Significant experience providing a customer-focused HRBP service.
• Experience leading HR projects and organisational change.
• Skilled at building relationships with managers and unions, coaching and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Group People Strategy by providing a trusted HR advice and partnering service for senior leaders and managers.
• Provide an effective HRBP service, using workforce data and business information to identify needs and develop practical people solutions.
• Lead HR projects including organisational change, restructures, TUPE and group-wide transformation programmes, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Provide advice and support on complex employee relations matters, including Employment Tribunals, working with legal advisors where required.
• Coach and support managers in people management, workforce planning, talent and succession planning, helping to build strong and effective teams.
• Build positive relationships with trade unions and HR/OD colleagues, supporting a collaborative approach and contributing to the group’s aim of being an employer of choice.
