Job summary

SBFM is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the People Team at our Colton head office. You will partner with senior stakeholders to align people strategy with the wider business vision, delivering expert advice across employee relations, change and workforce planning.

This role goes beyond traditional HRBP work, offering a chance to shape strategic partnering, lead change projects, and ensure compliance with employment law.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Business Partnering role with generalist HR expertise.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and TUPE/ tribunals is desirable.
• Ability to interpret HR policies and apply them effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Central Teams to deliver people strategy and plans.
• Support organisational design and change across the business.
• Use data and insight to support decision-making and bids.
• Lead workforce planning and identify capability gaps.
• Support appraisal processes, talent reviews and development.
• Coach managers to strengthen leadership and team effectiveness.
• Lead change, transformation and business improvement projects.
• Act as escalation point for complex Employee Relations cases.
• Provide first-line support for ET claims and ACAS conciliation.
• Lead on TUPE activity and large-scale change.
• Support DSAR documentation and data reviews with Legal.
