Sheffield City Council is seeking an experienced Operations and Development Manager within our South East Neighbourhood Housing Team. You will lead frontline operational teams, improve services, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and statutory requirements while delivering outcomes for residents.

You will manage budgets and resources, drive change, and produce clear reports for senior management and partners, including deputising for the Service Manager when required.

Responsabilidades

• lead, motivate and develop staff to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers
• oversee operational performance and contribute to service planning and target-setting
• lead change and identify practical opportunities to improve services, policies, procedures and systems
• maintain oversight of complaints, risk, safeguarding, health and safety and relevant statutory requirements
• work collaboratively with residents, elected members, partners and other Council services to resolve problems and improve outcomes
• support the effective management of budgets, staffing and other resources
• lead projects and prepare clear reports and briefings for senior managers, elected members and partners
• deputise for the Service Manager when required
• help shape responsive local services and strengthen relationships with communities and partners
