Job summary

The Strategic Housing team at Sheffield City Council is recruiting for a Housing Policy & Analysis role. You will turn complex evidence into clear, practical advice to inform housing strategies and policy decisions.

Working across the Council and with external partners, you will analyse legislation, market trends and data to support evidence-based decisions and service improvements for Sheffield.

About The Team

The Strategic Housing team is expanding and works across Housing and Neighbourhood Services, wider Council services and city partners. The team supports the development of housing strategy and policy. It builds the evidence needed for effective decision-making and helps the Council respond to changing housing needs, regulation and national policy.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
