Job summary

Colas Ltd, a UK subsidiary of Colas Group, is seeking a Planner to support the maintenance programmes across a multi-county network from the Strensham office. You will plan cyclical and reactive works, align with contractual obligations and commercial objectives, and work closely with operational teams and clients.

The role offers hybrid working and the potential to study towards a fully funded professional qualification, with a salary between £30,000 and £35,000, plus a strong benefits package

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with planning and scheduling in highway maintenance is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual and short-term programmes for highway works.
• Coordinate cyclical and reactive maintenance with contract requirements and budgets.
• Prepare job packs, identify risks and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, forecast delivery dates and expenditure; report changes to stakeholders.
• Support emergency response and incident recovery planning and execution.
