Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Corporate Strategy Principal to join its lean Strategy team. Working closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board, you will help shape and deliver some of the company's most important strategic priorities.

The role blends high‑level strategy with hands‑on delivery, offering exposure to corporate development and ESG initiatives, while partnering across functions to drive critical initiatives in a fast‑paced financial services software company.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent financial modelling and business case development.
• Ability to own complex workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Strong commercial judgement with execution focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Exposure to software/fintech or private equity environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Finastra's corporate strategy with the CEO and Strategy leadership.
• Structure complex questions into hypotheses, workstreams and analytical approaches.
• Analyse markets, competitors, customers and opportunities.
• Build financial models, business cases and scenario analyses to inform decision‑making.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and executive presentations.
• Own strategic workstreams from initial analysis through to implementation.
• Partner across the business to drive cross‑functional strategic initiatives.
• Take a hands‑on approach to delivery, including detailed and operational tasks when required.
• Support corporate development activities, including strategic assessments and early‑stage due diligence.
• Prepare analysis and materials for CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board‑level discussions.
• Build a strong understanding of Finastra's products, customers and the wider fintech landscape.
• Contribute to selected ESG initiatives within the broader strategy agenda.
