Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Corporate Strategy Principal to join its lean, high‑impact Corporate Strategy team. This hands‑on role partners with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board to shape and execute strategic priorities, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations and strategic bets across our products and markets.

Ideal candidates come from strategy consulting or corporate strategy, with strong analytical skills, hypothesis‑driven problem solving, and experience in

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Strong toolkit: hypothesis-driven problem solving, quantitative/qualitative analysis, synthesis and executive communication.
• Excellent analytical skills to structure ambiguous problems and identify key insights.
• Ability to own complex workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs at pace.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to move between strategy and execution.
• Exposure to corporate development, M&A or ESG is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Finastra’s corporate strategy with the CEO and Strategy leadership.
• Structure complex business questions into clear hypotheses, workstreams and analytical approaches.
• Analyse markets, competitors, customers and strategic opportunities.
• Build financial models, business cases and scenario analyses to inform decision‑making.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and executive‑level presentations.
• Own strategic workstreams from initial analysis through to implementation.
• Partner across the business to drive cross‑functional strategic initiatives.
• Take a hands‑on approach to delivery, including detailed and operational tasks when required.
• Support corporate development activities, including strategic assessments and early‑stage due diligence.
• Prepare analysis and materials for CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board‑level discussions.
• Build a strong understanding of Finastra’s products, customers and the wider fintech landscape.
• Contribute to selected ESG initiatives within the broader strategy agenda.
