Job summary

Finastra seeks a Corporate Strategy Principal to join its lean, high-impact Corporate Strategy team. You will own strategic workstreams from problem definition through to execution, translating complex information into clear insights for senior leadership.

You will work closely with the CEO, ELT and Board, influencing important strategic priorities and shaping decisions that direct the company’s future direction.

Qualifications

• Experienced in strategy consulting or corporate strategy with rigorous analysis.
• Skilled in hypothesis-driven problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong financial modelling and business case development.
• Ability to own complex workstreams and deliver outputs at pace.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Exposure to corporate development, M&A or ESG is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Finastra’s corporate strategy alongside the CEO and Strategy leadership.
• Structure complex business questions into clear hypotheses, workstreams and analytical approaches.
• Analyse markets, competitors, customers and strategic opportunities.
• Build financial models, business cases and scenario analyses to inform decision-making.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and executive-level presentations.
• Own strategic workstreams from initial analysis through to implementation.
• Partner across the business to drive cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Take a hands-on approach to delivery, including detailed tasks when required.
• Support corporate development activities, including strategic assessments and early-stage due diligence.
• Prepare analysis and materials for CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board-level discussions.
• Build understanding of Finastra’s products, customers and the fintech landscape.
