Job summary

Levy invites a Strategy Director to shape the growth and capital investment agenda for the SEC in Scotland. This high-visibility role focuses on conceptual design, investable business cases and partnerships with Levy and client teams.

You will translate insights into robust plans, lead capex projects from concept to funding, and report to senior leadership to drive the venue’s transformation and growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in strategic leadership, venue development or capital project roles within events, hospitality, retail or venue operations.
• Proven track record of originating and delivering capex or transformation projects from concept through to investment approval.
• Experience developing and presenting business cases, financial models and ROI analyses to executive or board audiences.
• Experience working with design, build and external development partners to deliver physical or experiential change.

Responsibilities

• Grow the long-term growth strategy and destination-venue vision for SEC in Scotland across Conference & Events and Retail.
• Lead the development of capex business cases, feasibility studies and ROI analyses.
• Present strategic recommendations and capital investment business cases to the executive team and board.
• Build relationships with external partners (architects, contractors, planning bodies) and Levy/client teams to progress initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing strategy team focused on conceptual design and investment readiness.
