Job summary

Broadstone Resourcing is seeking a Financial Controller in Kent, hybrid working. You will own the Group's financial control framework, lead consolidation of six subsidiaries, and deliver robust reporting for the CEO and board.

Reporting to the CEO, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and KPI reporting, ensuring UK GAAP compliance and effective governance across the group.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in Group financial control, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and AIM/listed-company requirements.
• Experience coordinating external audits and advisers.
• Strong governance, controls and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to produce management information and Board reporting.
• Experience with Excel and modern digital finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Group statutory accounts and consolidation of six subsidiaries.
• Own the Group's financial control framework across entities.
• Manage the year-end audit with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, company law and AIM requirements.
• Produce consolidated management accounts, KPIs and Board reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Monitor Group performance, working capital and cash generation.
• Provide financial insight to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Develop reporting across markets, brands, products and business units.
• Drive continuous improvement across the Group's finance function.
