Job summary

Page Executive is recruiting a Group CFO for a successful, privately owned growth company based in Newport, UK. The role will partner with the CEO and Board to steer strategic objectives and drive financial discipline across the group.

You will lead planning, forecasting, governance and risk management, providing commercial insight to support senior-level decision making and delivering value creation through cost control, efficiency improvements and disciplined capital allocation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to develop and deliver the Group's strategic objectives.
• Lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Provide meaningful commercial insight to support decision-making across the business.
• Drive initiatives focused on profitability enhancement, operational efficiency and value creation.
• Support the successful integration of acquired businesses and monitor post-acquisition performance.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and ensure strong return on capital across the Group.
• Manage relationships with banking partners, professional advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Lead funding and capital allocation activities to support business objectives.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks are maintained.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit, tax and compliance activities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance function.
