Job summary

Page Executive is partnering with a privately owned UK business to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will shape strategy, drive financial stewardship, and lead commercial performance across the Group.

The role requires a qualified finance leader with a track record in growth, transformation or acquisitions, and strong board‑level credibility to influence key decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience at CFO, Finance Director or equivalent senior finance leadership level.
• Track record in growth, transformation or acquisition activity.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience driving performance improvement and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to develop and deliver the Group's strategic objectives.
• Lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Provide meaningful commercial insight to support decision-making across the business.
• Drive initiatives focused on profitability enhancement, operational efficiency and value creation.
• Support the successful integration of acquired businesses and monitor post-acquisition performance.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and ensure strong return on capital across the Group.
• Manage relationships with banking partners, advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Lead funding and capital allocation activities to support business objectives.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit, tax and compliance activities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance function.
