Job summary

Confidential organisation in the Midlands/Yorkshire/North West is seeking a CFO/Finance Director to lead strategic and operational finance. You will prepare the business for investment, private equity or an exit, while partnering with shareholders, Advisors and lenders.

Reporting to the Board, you will strengthen governance, financial controls and reporting, and develop the finance function. A collaborative, influencing leadership style is essential to steer value creation during this growth

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a partnership or LLP environment.
Experience preparing a business for investment, private equity or an exit event.
Credibility with investors, lenders, advisors and Boards.
Strong commercial acumen alongside excellent technical finance capability.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at every level.

Responsibilities

Leading the business through investor and transaction readiness.
Working closely with shareholders, external advisors and potential investors.
Providing strategic financial leadership to support long term value creation.
Enhancing financial reporting, commercial insight and decision making.
Supporting governance, risk management and financial controls.
Advising on corporate structure and future transaction activity.
Developing the finance function while remaining a visible and collaborative member of the leadership team.
